Last Friday (on 26th July) I was incredibly honored to join my dear friends from Ukrainian Cultural Initiative representing Ukraine at Lowell Folk Festival Parade of Flags!
Lowell Folk Festival is one of the largest free folk festivals in the country that has been running for 37 years now!
The flags from around the world fluttered in the breeze, the parade was moving through the downtown Lowell and culminated at the Boarding
House Park stage!
It’s hard to describe how it feels to see people’s reaction on Ukrainian flags at the parade – their support, encouragement and warm wishes were incredible! So many people came to us to say they follow the news and they are with Ukraine! Yay!
Thank you state Rep. Vanna Howard for introducing Ukraine and other participating countries at the stage!
Thank you Mayor Daniel P. Rourke and vice mayor Paul Ratha Yem for organizing this amazing event!
We, Vladyslav Shapiro and Natalka Proskura, represented Ukrainian Cultural Initiative at the Borderlands Charity Golf Tournament to support Ukrainian and American military Veterans.
Ukrainian Cultural Initiative was founded to support artists and humanitarian projects in Ukraine, and we are proud to present great achievements of Ukrainian artist at such important event.
